Ahhh! Fall is among us. Although the official date isn’t until September 22, the start of school is always the start of fall for me. And with this season comes the time to revamp my To Be Read List. Thus far, I’ve read at little over 20 books. I am super proud of this because I haven’t read this many books in a really long time. And I’m determined to keep going.
My mentor Dr. Stacia Pierce always says to read in the direction of your goals and right now I am focused on a few areas. They include:
- Career
- Personal Growth
- Love and Relationships
- Finance
Additionally, I do believe you should read for fun too. A good story always does an imagination good, so throw some fun reads on your list.
Here are a FEW tips for constructing your fall reading list:
- What are your current goals? Evaluate your goals and then determine the subjects you need to be reading about.
- For ideas on what to read check out reading suggestions on Amazon, Good Reads, or Pinterest on your selected subjects.
- Select your reads.
- Start reading and record your takeaways in a journal.
I’ve created a document where you can record your reading list for the fall. Download it here. fall-reading-list
Here are 5 of the books that I will be reading this fall. I plan on reading more but I wanted to share my top 5.
On Writing Well by William Zinsser
Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill
Skip the Party Start a Business by Ariana Pierce
The Sacred Search by Gary Thomas
