When I was a meat eater I loved burgers. I mean I was a burger connoisseur of sorts. Since becoming a vegetarian in 2013, I’ve had to find something that I would equally enjoy. I then discovered veggie burgers and was happy to find out that there was such a wonderful variety and that I wasn’t subjected to some of the nasty processed brands found in the grocery stores. When I go out to eat at different Orlando restaurants I like to try different ones. Below are some of my favorites and their descriptions:

Shake Shack (Orlando, Winter Park Locations)
‘Shroom Burger
Crisp-fried portobello mushroom filled with melted muenster and cheered cheeses, topped with lettuce, tomato, Shacksauce
Cheesecake Factory (Orlando, Winter Park Locations)
Veggie Burger
A Delicious “Burger” Made with Brown Rice, Farro, Mushrooms, Black Beans and Onion. Served on a Toasted Wheat Brioche Bun with Melted Fontina Cheese, Lettuce, Tomato, Pickles and Mayo
Duffy’s (Various Orlando Area Locations)
Quinoa Mushroom Kale Veggie Burger
Served on a whole wheat bun, side of cilantro-cream sauce

Burger Fi (Various Oralndo Area Locations)
VEGEFi Burger

Cooper Canyon Grill (Pointe Orlando)
Veggie Burger

Super Rico Colombian Bistro (Downtown Orlando)
Portobello Mushroom Burger
This burger was the reason I fell in love with mushrooms. Grilled to perfection this burger is topped with mozzarella cheese, lettuce, tomato, shoestring potatoes, and garnished with 3 of our signature sauces (Pineapple Sauce, Rosada, and Cilantro-Garlic Sauce)
Do you have any favorite vegetarian burgers you like to eat? Shout them out and where I could get them below in the comments.
I’m changing my eating style and this was pretty informative. The one burger with the lettuce surrounding it seems really weird to eat but thanks
I’m so late seeing this. I apologize for the late response. Have tried any of the burgers yet? Some ppl don’t want to eat too much bread so they opt for a “lettuce bun” I’ve never had it that way but people seem to like it.
Impossible burgers and Beyond Meat burger at BurgerFi are legit and vegan!
Say what!! I have to try one of those now. Although I’m not Vegan I am always willing to eat vegan dishes.
